Mini Camp
June 11, 12, & 13
10am-2pm
- Crucial practice time to get a head start on our Marching Band Competition Field Show. We start to go over technique, warm-ups, and music, in order for the band to be successful.
Band Camp
July 29 – Aug 9 (Mon-Fri only)
8am-4pm (Lunch from 11:45-12:45)
- Please make every effort to attend. Attending Band Camp will guarantee you a spot on the field.
What is Band Camp?
VVHS Band Camp is a series of mandatory rehearsals two weeks before the first day of school that teaches the basics of marching band, how to march, athletic conditioning, setting drill and coordinates, learning music for competition & football games, and gaining a strong rapport with fellow members in the band. If you miss Band Camp, you will be behind.

Summer All-District Marching Band (Optional, but really fun)
The All-District Marching Band includes students from every comprehensive high school in the district.
